Interiors are often a matter of balancing the natural lighting, the supplemental fill lighting, and the warmer indoor incandescents. The indoor colors must remain faithful, so with adequate lighting from the windows, it is often most useful to use daylight balanced film coupled with a slight cooling filter to compensate for some of the warm indoor lighting. This leaves the indoor light with an acceptable warmth, but gives the window light an acceptable bluish hue giving a feeling of the outside.
