During the photography of this building, many times of day, conditions and viewpoints were attempted. My purpose during this photograph was to examine the particular perspective, but as I finished the camera setup the sunrise began to color the high cirrus clouds and the warm light began to fall onto the beige stone of the building. I had not expected these fortunate additions, and they were welcome. Although a relatively wide- angle lens was used, following the focus plane adjustment the focus spread was still large. The required small aperture resulted in a long exposure time, but due to the still wind, the reflection remained sharp. | |
