I had driven by this location many times, but certainly not under these conditions. During the month of January 2011, there were two days of freezing fog that was unparalleled. I was looking for a good foreground to capture the rising sun in this fog when I came upon this hill and trees. One lone vehicle had traced an elegant curve through the snow, an addition that I usually don't like, but in this case it seemed to add to the image.
