This interesting group of old buildings has always captured my attention. During the morning hours of late Autumn and Winter, when the trees have lost their leaves, the ones along the road cast interesting shadows onto the foreground of this image. Consulting my homemade astronomical calculator, I anticipated a setting full moon on this morning. I was lucky enough to also have some interesting cirrus clouds to complement the composition. I waited until the moon was positioned aesthetically in a gap of the clouds.
