I had been visiting the university on many mornings and had become aware of the sun's position on the horizon at sunrise. I also realized that I could capture its reflection in the door of the Natural History Museum if I positioned myself at the proper place on the steps of the building. On this spring morning the sky was clear, allowing the reflection to be captured easily.
