Springtime at the University of Kansas is always colorful. The abundant flower beds in all parts of the campus create many points of interest. It was late day, which provided some deep shadows within the foliage and along the vertical lines of the building. The brightest parts of the scene such as the building face and the sunlit flowering trees were placed on approximately zone 6 2/3, resulting in a good combination of brightness and color saturation.
