On a trip to the Tallgrass Prairie I had decided to obtain some architectural images of the house, and the details of the front porch area presented some nice possibilities. I used my 4x5 view camera to get the proper perspective and to avoid any diverging lines in the structure. I was there in the early afternoon, and the shadows on the front of the house were nice at that time.
